To become a physiotherapist in BC, they are required to complete their Master’s of Physical Therapy Degree from an accredited school. Furthermore, all physiotherapists are regulated and governed by the College of Physical Therapists of BC.

Physiotherapists are highly skilled health professionals who have spent years training using scientific-based treatments. They work hard to implement these treatments to improve mobility, treat acute or chronic injuries, and even prevent the onset of certain diseases. There is no need to receive your doctor’s referral in order to receive treatment from a physiotherapist. If you experience explainable pain or discomfort, come by and find out why.

Our team has worked diligently in organizing a safe and functional environment at our clinics where our clients are able to receive a range of health care services. Easy Therapy’s main objective is to cater to the comfort of our clients. So, should you be unable to visit us, we’ll come to you! In-home sessions are one of the many services we are proud to offer our clients.

Yes, we will direct bill your insurance company provided we receive all the appropriate information.

Every insurance plan is different. Please be sure to double-check with your insurance provider to see if you are covered for physiotherapy treatments. Most major extended health companies offer a certain allotted amount to cover physiotherapy in one calendar year.

We accept payments from extended health insurance companies, cash, Cheque, debit, and all major credit cards.

We ask that you cancel with at least 24 hours notice before your appointment so as to avoid any cancellation fees. If a cancellation is made within the 24 hours prior to your appointment, a $25 cancellation fee will be charged.

Upon arrival, you will be received by one of our health professionals who will begin by completing a full assessment on your needs, ailments, and goals. Once you and the physiotherapist have ironed out all the details, the physiotherapist will construct an individualized evidence-based treatment plan that will help you reach your needs.

Once the plan is set, your therapist will make sure to commence the first steps of your treatment plan before your first session ends. This will give you an idea of what your future sessions will look/feel like.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to fill out a New Patient Form and complete payment.

The length of each sessions all depends on your ailments and goals. The initial assessment can take anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour. All subsequent visits range from 20 to 45 minutes.

Please dress in comfortable loose clothing in order to comfortably participate in exercises or reveal the injured area.

Because all treatment plans are patient centered. This means no two treatment plans are the same. At the end of your initial assessment, your physiotherapist will be able to give you the most accurate timeline for your recovery.
Only those MSP beneficiaries with premium assistance status are eligible for a combined annual limit (each calendar year) of 10 visits for acupuncture, physiotherapy, massage therapy, chiropractic, naturopathy and non-surgical podiatry.
